PluralBridge
researchAn independent preservation and continuity project for systems affected by the Simply Plural shutdown. Today it includes Python and SQL tooling for working with preserved Simply Plural data, with a privacy-focused browser app and source-independent import framework in development. Its maintainers intend to support PluralPort/OpenPlural as one versioned interchange format among several, with provenance, warnings, and conformance testing rather than treating it as the internal data model.

Where things stand
PluralBridge is not a system tracker in the usual sense. It exists to keep Simply Plural data usable after that service shut down, first as preservation and recovery tooling, and then as a browser app that imports preserved data through a reviewable, auditable process.
The PluralBridge import design is source-independent: source formats are handled through per-source import paths, with provenance, validation summaries, and warnings rather than silent normalization. Simply Plural is the first major source target.
The maintainers intend to support PluralPort/OpenPlural as a versioned interchange source format among several. The intent is conformance against a specific version, not adoption of the interchange format as PluralBridge's internal data model.
Lighthouse-DID Hub has also reported testing against Simply Plural / PluralBridge-shaped data, including importer edge cases around front-history records, multiple open front entries, timestamp assumptions, custom fields, empty-but-valid structures, archived members, and group/folder mapping.
This page is now maintainer-updated from the project's public repository, website, and public issue discussion.
